Background

The realization in LISBON since 1982 of the International Symposia on "Applications of Laser Techniques to Fluid Mechanics" have brought together all the world leading manufacturers of equipment for fluid flow research, that have exhibited their most modern and advanced instrumentation during the four conference days. In addition, a special session has been organized during the last Symposia to allow the various manufacturers to present and discuss their most recent achievements.

The Exhibitions had provided a unique opportunity for researchers from all over the world to meet the leading manufacturers of laser equipment and to discuss their current and future needs, as well as to put together new research programs for instrumentation development, or to plan equipment acquisitions.


The LISBON´2006 EXHIBITION

During the period 26-29 June 2006, The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will provide the fourth exhibition of the 21st century of laser equipment for fluid flow research.
The exhibition will use about 250m2 and will occur during the 13th Intl. Symposium on Applications of Laser Techniques to Fluid Mechanics, which is expected to bring more than 300 researchers.
